Connecting to phone

Hello! Love the idea of the new update, however my computer will not connect to my phones authentication app. Whenever I go to any screen that requires the authenticator code, it says on my phone that there are no requests. I can still use the number to log into my account, but I would like this easy tap-to-go version too!
